Westside Wonderspace

Westside Wonderspace is a nature and play-based preschool program designed to foster a sense of wonder in 3.5-5 year-old children. Our goal is to create the ideal environment for students to grow into citizens of the world while respecting differences in all people and engaging with their communities.

The teachers will support play, exploration, and support risk-taking therefore developing confidence and self-esteem through child-inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.

Our 2024/2025 program is Monday-Thursday:  9:30am-1pm. Tuition is:   $925/month.  All students must be potty-trained.

MEET OUR TEACHERS

Former teachers of the 2s and 3-5s classes at West Seattle's beloved Little Pilgrim School, Jen Wheatley (she/her)  and Amanda Frame  (she/her) have come together to offer something new to the community.  Together, we have years of early-childhood education experience and are excited to serve the families in our community and fulfill a need for children to learn in small groups with lots of fresh air.

We believe playing outdoors is one of the most valuable experiences for a child.

Westside Wonderspace acknowledges that we live, teach, and operate our nature-based early learning program on occupied land. We honor the land itself, as well as the Duwamish who are still here thriving and continually seeking to protect the land.
